Grand Mere / Colbert Hills Golf Course

Manhattan’s only master planned golf course community. Great effort has been taken in the planning of this community and many different housing types are offered, and Kansas State University's Colbert Hills Golf Course is interwoven throughout the development.

Edge District

The Edge District is comprised of the K-State Office and Research Parks, and K-Labs. The goal is to provide state-of-the-art co-location opportunities for partners who enhance academics and research on campus, contribute industry expertise, promote regional and international collaborations, access student talent, and align with the university’s land-grant mission.

Tuttle Creek State Park

Tuttle Creek Reservoir, the state's second largest impoundment, offers 12,500 acres of water and about 100 miles of rugged, wooded shoreline to explore. Numerous nature trails, a mountain biking trail, and a scenic equestrian trail offer explorers a variety of routes to experience the aesthetic Flint Hills environment.

NBAF

The first laboratory facility in the U.S. to provide BSL-4 laboratories capable of housing cattle and other large livestock. NBAF also will feature a Biologics Development Module for the pilot scale development of vaccines and other countermeasures, augmenting laboratory research and accelerating technology transfer to industry partners.

From daily service by American Airlines to private aviation, Manhattan Regional Airport provides convenient access to air travel. Just 7.5 miles from Midtown it's closer to where you want to be.

Ft. Riley

Fort Riley is home to Soldiers and families of the 1st Infantry Division known as "The Big Red One" . Law enforcement, fire protection, sports & recreational facilities, religious activities, child & youth programs are just a small sample of the support and services provided by those working on this base.
